What is HOPera?

The goal of HOPera (a mix of beer and opera) is to bring this art form to new audiences in unexpected places. Incredibly talented opera singers perform shortened songs at local breweries, bars, or restaurants across the Piedmont Triad to give unsuspecting patrons a sample of light, familiar opera, and Broadway music.

Support local music and local breweries this winter! Piedmont Opera’s HOPera series brings amazing hometown talent to your favorite gathering spots for free mini-concerts. Grab a drink, enjoy some food, and help lift up local bars that have been hit hard by the winter weather—all while hearing incredible live music in an intimate setting.
