Covid Policy

Piedmont Opera is keeping up to date with local and state guidelines. We follow the covid policies of the performance venues. We appreciate your support.

Beginning Monday, March 7th,  wearing masks will become optional for all faculty, staff, students, and patrons at The Stevens Center of the UNCSA. Although masking is optional, Piedmont Opera encourages our patrons to continue to wear a face covering, especially those who are unvaccinated or at higher risk of serious illness from COVID-19.

Piedmont Opera broadcasts The Met: Live in HD at theaters at the Arts Council of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. Arts Council campus venues include Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts’ Reynolds Place Theatre, Mountcastle Theatre, and galleries – as well as Hanesbrands Theatre. As of March 21, 2022, Arts Council has changed its campus-wide COVID Safety Protocol. Patrons are no longer required to wear a mask or present proof of vaccination or a negative PCR COVID test for entry. With the CDC’s metrics listing Forsyth County as a low-transmission community, we are proud to have done our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19.
